Treatment: Imaging and Surgery Comments: Molly, a 7 year old female Cocker Spaniel presented with acute rear limb paralysis after jumping on and off the furniture. Follow Up Care: A CAT scan showed a disk herniation at L1/L2 and L2/L3. She was taken to surgery where the extruded disk material was removed from around the spinal cord. Updates: After several weeks of TLC at home, medication and followup exams Molly is walking normally and the owners have their baby back. |
