Treatment: Surgery

Comments: Anastasia a 6 week old female Lion cub presented for a swelling in the right ear. She had likely been accidentally bitten by her mother and now had a swollen ear.

Follow Up Care: She had a hematoma in the ear lobe and needed it drained. A surgical laser was used to create opening to allow the blood to drain out.

Updates: The stitches that were place will fall out on their own. Once the fur grows back on the ear, Anastasia will forget all about it.
