Treatment: Imaging and Surgery Comments: Dory a 6 year old female Siamese mix cat came in after going missing for a week. She was lethargic, lame on the right front leg and had severe swelling in the right elbow. Follow Up Care: Xrays were taken of the right arm that showed a comminuted fracture of the right ulna and dislocation of the radius. Dory was taken to surgery where a plate was used to stabilize the fracture. Updates: Dory was sent home with a soft cast, antibiotics and pain medication. She had strict instruction not to get into trouble for a several wks. |
